It’s time to start thinking about the upcoming holidays. People who make homemade gifts have to start quite early. So, here’s a great gift or decoration idea for Christmas. This cute Ginger Cookie Candle Mat says “Welcome!” like a fresh plate of cookies! Six gingerbread men are sweetly spiced with brown Applique Glitter vinyl and carefully iced with bright satin stitches. You can use regular embroidery thread or metallic thread. Either looks adorable. These ginger cookies are made in a raw-edge technique making them sparkle against any fabric you choose. The applique ‘plate’ is layered and quilted right in-the-hoop, with scalloped edges finished in deliciously decorative stitching!
